Hi, I'm Janiese...Skin Specialist and owner of Absorb, LLC. I love, love, love esthetics. Yes, I am one of those rare individuals who actually gets to work in a career field that is also their passion. Why am I so passionate about skin care? There's a few reasons for this. First, having dealt with horrible skin issues throughout most of my 20's, I know firsthand how frustrating it can be. This gives me a great heart of compassion for those who have faced similar battles; and an excitement for helping them to overcome. Second, I love people. I love the fact that I get to meet people from all over, hear about their stories and have the opportunity to educate them on skincare. Building relationships is extremely important to me as it ensues trust for my clients while maintaining lifelong friendships. Lastly, I love the fact that the beauty industry is always changing. I feel like I'm learning something new every day. There's never a dull moment! My journey in the world of skincare began shortly after earning my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Lee University. While attending the Master's program, I took a day job working at an Aveda Day Spa and it was from that moment on that I knew this industry was for me. Several months later, I moved to Atlanta, GA where I began the esthetics program at the Aveda Institute at Buckhead. After completing the program, I moved back to my hometown of Charlotte and immediately began my career as an Esthetician. Throughout the last 15 years, I've had the privilege to work at some of the best spas in Charlotte. I started at Carmen! Carmen! in their Cotswald location. Then, I went on to deepen my knowledge of esthetics by learning medical treatments at Re Salon and Medspa. After that, I spent seven years helping to build up Toccare Day Spa, a thriving esthetics business in the Myers Park area. In all these years of practicing esthetics, I have been blessed to meet the most skilled educators, travel to wonderful places, work with superior skincare lines, receive certifications in countless continuing education programs, and have met and worked with some of the best in the industry. All of this has brought me to where I am today. I am more than grateful to now have the opportunity to take the sum of everything I've learned throughout the years and present a superior and high-integrity service of skin care through Absorb, LLC. Cancellation Policy
Providing credit card information is required when booking a service to insure the appointment time requested. Credit cards are not charged at the time of booking. However, to protect our time and availability for other clients, any cancellations that occur with less than 24 hours of notice will be charged 50% of the service(s) booked. No show appointments will be charged 100% of the service(s) booked. We do understand that unexpected emergencies can occur so please call, text or provide some immediate form of communication if something has come up and you are unable to make your appointment.
